WBZ News Radio 1030: Swampscott Mom Launches Support, Resource Group For New Mothers

SWAMPSCOTT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — In light of a tragedy on the South Shore, a mom on the North Shore is creating a space for new mothers to get the support, resources, and counseling they may need.

Caroline Allen of Swampscott launched "The Mom Connection," a support business that aims to service mothers of toddlers, whether they are working or a stay-at-home parent. Allen tells WBZ's Brooke McCarthy that the idea came to her after she noticed there was a clear lack of support for moms who had just recently given birth.
