WHO LEADS THIS WORK?

Caroline Allen is a working mom to three kids under five, and a NAPS Certified Mom’s Survival Group Leader. The groups are expert-led, building on NAPS 10+ years of experience focusing on maternal health and wellness.

WHY THE MOM CONNECTION?

As a new mom, I craved two things - the chance to get out and meet other moms in her area AND resources for things I was struggling with - newborn sleep, the four month sleep regression, starting solids, and more.  The Mom Connection provides moms with a space to find community, spark connection, and feel confident on their parenting journey with resources and support. When you become a mom, everything changes. This transition is not easy, but taking time to invest in yourself is the first step. I strongly believe that all moms deserve and need genuine connections with other moms, and I am on a mission to support and connect busy moms on their parenting journey.

HOW ARE THE GROUPS STRUCTURED?

The groups are limited to the first ten moms that sign up, which allows for a more intimate setting. This allows rich community building with intentional conversations with parents who have kids the same age as yours. There are six sessions with each group, and each session focuses on an important theme/topic. For toddlers, we may focus on toddler tantrums one week and toddler sleep the next. The discussion is the magic of the groups.

WHO ARE THE GROUPS FOR?

The groups are for any moms looking for a safe space to meet other moms. Each group will be designated for a certain subset of moms. The first groups in April are for toddler moms (one virtual and one in-person group) - anyone who has at least one child from 1-4 years old.
