First ‘Mom Talk’ = Major Success

Wow, it truly doesn’t get better than last night. For the inaugural “Mom Talk” event hosted by The Mom Connection, we were joined by the remarkable Lauren Baker, former First Lady of Massachusetts and founder of the .

Here are some of our favorite highlights from a magical night:

• We had 45+ moms in attendance who loved having a night out. We laughed, we talked about the realities of parenting, and we left inspired by Lauren’s wisdom.

• Lauren’s incredible stories, advice, and reflections gave us ALL the feels. She was authentic, had an unmatched level of candor, and told unprecedented stories about motherhood, being in the public eye, and what it was like to raise three kids in the North Shore… and how she and her husband ended up in Swampscott in the first place!

• Moms exchanged phone numbers with new friends, told stories, and shared about the realities of parenting - and everyone commented how nice it was to have a night out!

It was just THE BEST. It was fun, rewarding, and the most wonderful dose of inspiration and energy. If you didn’t attend, I hope we will see you at the next one!
